Before the Mother's day I went to the central Lush shop in Moscow and bought there a face cream as a gift for my Mom. Of course, I laid the cheque aside, because I respected this firm. And of course, didn't examine what was inside the jar. When the gift was presented, we found out, that the cream had bad smell, colour and was covered with fungus. When I returned to the shop in order to change the cream, they said me, that best before date of the cream passed away, a tag with a price on it has an old price and in addition that the surface of the cream has a fingerprint. In other words, they accused me, that I bought the cream in other shop, in other time long before and used this cream. I'm in anger! Now I can't buy anything there, and do not advise to do it to anybody else.

Okay, so a week ago I was recommended fresh farmacy for my sensitive-but-a-bit-oily skin. It is a disaster! I've found the texture to be a bit gritty, like an exfoliating product which I certainly didn't want. My (previously baby-soft-but-with-a-few-blackheads) skin now does not feel smooth to touch and has turned into a super-oil-producing-factory! I cut the edges off the soap to see if it was just some dust or something stuck to the outside (as the soap wasnt wrapped in the shop before I bought it), but it seems to be this texture all of the way through.

I read somewhere about a batch error in fresh farmacy soap, so can someone tell me, is the texture supposed to be smooth and creamy like a soap, or is it supposed to have exfoliating bits in? Was I just recommended the wrong product? I'm really really angry with myself as I've thrown away the receipt and I really cant afford to be spending that much on soaps that I can't use. I'm going shopping tomorrow, do you think it's worth taking the soap in to ask about anyway, even though I've cut the edges off and don't have a receipt?

My boyfriend just pointed out what nasty feet I have at the moment (thanks!). I was wondering if anyone could recommend anything for me to use to make them nicer and help with the dry skin etc. I have a few 10% off vouchers from my Christmas giftsets and I think its about time I used one.

Thanks :)

Howdy!

UK Lush addict here. If anyone's on the forum- I used to be Radclyffe42 until I changed my email and never got a confirmation :( So now I can't log on. I tried setting up a new account, and I'm having the same problem.

Slight addendum to the welcome post. This is not exclusively Brit, anyone is welcome, its just the moderating (or not) style will be less in your face.  Welcome to everyone who has signed up so far.

If any of you are pissed off with the slightly anal way that the NA Lush lot work then welcome to a truly Brit style place to talk about Lush. No tags unless you want to tag them, no moderating unless someone starts being truly offensive. Cup of tea anyone?
